Welcome to Kids Lead Foundation
With a strong desire to see young people flourish and succeed, Kids Lead Foundation takes the initiative to bring learning opportunities to those in low-income households and families across the New York City area. Our elementary level reading programs are uniquely designed with children’s growing intellect in mind, providing a gradual and multi-tier introduction to literary skills and language abilities that prepare them for high levels of education and entry into the real-world.
What We Do
Learning how to read is perhaps the most fundamental skill a growing student can have, and we use cooperation from sponsors and partners to supply them with all they need to take the first steps forward.
We provide children with culturally relevant and age-appropriate books for children in grades 2-5 and services to improve literacy.
KLF Drop
Each child receives their very own KLF bag that contains a book, a stuffed animal to keep the child company while he or she reads, a notebook, and a pencil.
KLF Education
Our teaching staff has experience working with 2nd to 5th-grade elementary level students and is motivated by a willingness to help them thrive academically.
